Senior Housing

A fire-damaged and long vacant 8-unit apartment building (see photo at right, above) was rehabilitated and converted to affordable housing for seniors. An accelerated design process helped the client meet funding deadlines. Only the concrete block walls could be salvaged. All other features are new, and designed to meet current codes and accessibility requirements.

This project was designed by Harriman Kinyon Architects, where I worked as a Project Manager.

Hunters View Redevelopment

In addition to master planning the entire 22-acre redevelopment, our scope included design of selected buildings. Block 4, shown in these drawings, included 51 apartments, as well as a parking garage, a community center, and management offices.

This project was designed by WRT/Solomon E.T.C., where I acted as Project Manager for the master planning and a Designer for the buildings. Watercolor by Art Zendarski.
